Live dashboards
Sales, margin, stock, debtors and cash on one screen, refreshed automatically from the systems you already run.
Insight and reporting
We build the reporting your leadership team actually uses: live dashboards, board packs and forecasts drawn from one model of your business. Every number traces back to its source, so the conversation is about decisions, not whose spreadsheet is right.
If any of these are true, this is where we can help.
Sales, margin, stock, debtors and cash on one screen, refreshed automatically from the systems you already run.
Forecasts that schedule bills by priority, respect your overdraft limit and let finance test scenarios before they commit.
A consistent monthly pack produced from the same model as your dashboards, so the board sees the numbers your team works from.
Ageing buckets, overdue accounts and days payable outstanding, so you know who to chase and when to pay.
Management reporting moved onto an accrual basis without breaking month-end, with both views run side by side until you trust the new one.
Dead and slow-moving stock, dormant customers and overdue balances surfaced from your own data, with the dollar value attached.
We start with the decisions your leadership team needs to make each week and work back to the data that supports them. That usually means a short discovery to map your systems, agree the handful of numbers that matter, and find where the current reports go wrong.
Then we build the reporting model first and the dashboards second. The model joins your accounting, inventory, job and payroll data into one place, applies the business rules once, and reconciles back to the source. Dashboards and packs sit on top of it, so every view tells the same story.
We handle New Zealand details properly from day one: GST, April to March financial years and daylight saving, so a report run at 9am on a Monday shows Monday’s numbers.
Good reporting should change what happens next. For a pumps and tanks distributor, an analysis of their stock and receivables found $850K in dead or overstocked inventory and $691K in overdue invoices. We then built a cashflow forecast the finance team can steer, with payment dates written back to Xero.
If you’re weighing up a move to accrual reporting, our guide to moving management reporting from cash to accrual covers what changes and how to run both in parallel.
Tell us about the report nobody trusts or the process that eats a day a week. We'll tell you straight whether we can help, and what it would take.
