What we collect
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you choose to give us:
- your name
- your email address
- your company name
- your phone number, if you provide it
- the topic you select and the message you write
We don’t ask for more than we need to reply to you, and the phone number and company fields are optional.
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss work you’re interested in, and keep a record of our conversation. We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without asking first.
Where it’s stored
Contact form messages are sent to our email and stored in the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure services we use to run the business. These providers may process or store information on servers outside New Zealand. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including access controls and limiting who can see it.
Sharing
We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that help us run our business, such as email and hosting, and only so far as they need it to provide their service, or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any work that follows. If no work follows, we delete them when they’re no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t currently use tracking cookies or analytics on this website. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it’s wrong. To make a request, email info@pedersengroup.co.nz. We’ll respond as soon as we can.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
